Dear Target and Taboo of the Black Eye Peas,

While flipping through channels we here at plaidweek.com caught your Plaid Week commercial. Let me start by saying we are truly appreciative of your dedication to plaid week. We could not be more glad to have the support of Target and the Black Eye Peas behind us. It has only been a few months since the inaugural plaid week and the site has not been up for more than a two weeks and to already have this level of support is unfathomable. We are truly excited.

Not to get caught up in all the elation we must ask are you starting the promotion of Plaid Week 2010 a bit too early. While starting promotion of a “holiday” is nothing new, every year it seems like Christmas season starts a bit earlier and we all know Plaid Week is a grand event worth of such promotion, but can you sustain this promotion for the next 8 months? Taboo from the Black Eye Peas is already draping himself in plaid. Where do you go from here? Will you rename Target to Plaid? Will Taboo change the name of his group to The Black Eye Plaids? We say go for it!!!
